I’m the person who figures out why leads aren’t routing — and fixes it for good.
My name is Ajay Kumar. I’m a Senior Marketing Operations Analyst based in Bengaluru, and I’ve spent the last four years at Epicor Software building and owning the marketing technology stack from the ground up.
When I joined in April 2022, the brief was simple: build internal RingLead expertise so the team could stop depending on vendor consultants for every change. Four years later, I’ve done that — and a lot more.
WHAT I’VE ACTUALLY BUILT:
V4 New Contact Marketing Funnel — Led an 8-person cross-functional project covering 852,306 leads and 591,566 accounts. Every inbound lead now auto-converts to a Contact, matched to an Account, and routed to the right BDR. Go-live: October 10, 2025.
Account Enrichment Programme — Built via ZoomInfo’s Company API with real-time enrichment on every account create/update, plus a quarterly run for dormant records. 500K+ accounts in scope. Diagnosed and fixed a recursive trigger loop in sandbox without vendor help.
Job Title Segmentation — 12,800+ title variants across 11 seniority tiers and 10+ functional personas. Every lead and contact gets classified automatically at point of entry.
Lead Scoring Rescue (April 2023) — Built the demographic and firmographic scoring layers in RingLead that became the foundation for Epicor’s Pardot scoring rebuild in 2025.
BEFORE EPICOR:
I spent four years as an outbound enterprise BDR targeting North America accounts from India — working US hours (5 PM–3:30 AM IST), hitting quota through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn, and building my own prospect intelligence system using Feedly RSS feeds before intent tools were mainstream. That background gives me a firsthand understanding of what good data and routing actually means for the people working leads every day.
WHAT I’M EXPLORING NOW:
Building automation workflows in n8n, experimenting with local LLMs, and documenting my RevOps architecture work publicly — because the best way to show what you can do is to show what you’ve built.
